I think we (all schools) are doing this to ourselves. We make such a big deal about these kids as we move closer to signing day, that some kids who love the attention do whatever they can to stay in the limelight. Kids like Alex Barr and others who commit early miss out on all the attention. Some like it that way, but some others crave the attention. The guys that show up on NSD with three hats on a table are the perfect example. They probably knew where they were going back in October, but love being on TV.

Good stuff Pur...fuck that kid...Lets hope we get Quick! Gotta be honest, not to concerned with the WR this yr. We have some good young ones and some nice TE that will def help in the passing game. Off was never my concerned, it was the def, and still is...LOL

Yes I feel good at WR but IM could of been a big help in the KR and PR department. ND doesn't have anyone that is electric for those spots. We haven't had one since G.Tate. GA3 was an ok KR but we haven't had a PR in a long time.

Read that you guys are now making a push for Erick Brown out of Fontana Ca. as plan B (or C) at WR since you lost IM, and Quick is leaning OU.

I don't know the kid's name but yes ND has a back up plan. Its a kid that is already committed to another school but told ND he will wait and see if a spot opens up and he will commit if ND offers.

ND is out on Sawyers. He just canceled his visit. Going to Tenn instead.

ND made up ground on Quick. Word is after the visit yesterday ND is now 50/50 with Oklahoma with maybe ND ahead. His parents just fell in love with the coaching staff.


Only a couple days boys. Should be fun.

JuJu News: He wants to pick ND but his childhood team is USC and he always dreamed about playing at USC. Cant blame the kid if that's his fav team growing up. He did say the school that makes the most sense is ND but he doesn't know what to do.


50/50 shot guys. Shock the World John Smith. This would be a big Upset if ND coaches pulls this out. Coming from rivals this would push ND coaching staff as a Top 5 recruiter. They compare this to Te'o situation. Big Big Big get for ND if it happens.

I would say if they land Cage or Garnett losing out on Sawyers isn't a big deal. I imagine it is Brown I think it was purguy who had mentioned that he wanted to sign with Notre Dame but they told him he needed to wait. I'm all for talking the kid ESPN have him as a 4 star in their top 300, Rivals have him as a 4 star #124, Scout have him listed as a 4 star #27 WR, and 247sports have him listed as a 4 star 90 #154 nationally. I'm not sure why they wouldn't just take his commitment.
