So let's say I invest $10,000 into one of these awesome Nebraska High School athletes.....

What does my money do and how do I get a return exactly?

I don't really know depends on what each school would need if its weights or equipment. Travel expenses. better nutrition. From field terf kleets gloves batting machines coaches. Idk its yer 10k you figure it out

For this states' population and talent level, I'd say the powers that be have gone above and beyond reasonable expectation as far as provisions, opportunities and amentities.

Well why hasn't the talent level risen. My high school just got a new field like 3 years ago. And our weight room is old school. Which I don't mind but I do think that we can improve high school athletics to the levels of Texas I don't see why not. Now granted Texas has a little bit more money then we do but I'm sure Buffet could wright a check to bring high school athletics up to par over the next 5 years. Improved equipment should bring down sports related injuries.

Now I know in Podunk Nebraska they are not going to have top notch facilities for a school enrollment is under 1000 but maybe bigger city schools can donate there used equipment when class A&B schools get brand new shit

That's a pipe dream. Comparing Nebraska HS football's ceiling potential to Texas HS football's is like comparing a shack in Uganda to the Taj Mahal.

Personally I think we need to focus more of our search on the Pennsylvania and Virginia area. Those are kids that are just looking to get the hell out of dodge.

The kids down South like being where they're at. That's why all we can ever get out of there are the leftovers.

The D.C. Suburbs produce some ballers man. Asante was solid. Pierson-El is out of Alexandria too. Seisay (Springfield, VA) was a flat out bust though. I know we've had some other good ones out of that area, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

We need to keep a strong presence in that area. The addition of Maryland to the B1G helps with visibility as far as recruiting goes.

Right but it doesnt have to be. I am not saying it will happen over night or even in my as before stated 5 years. But it should be a focus. Investing in sports health and nutrition should be as important as class room learning.
