A 6-foot-4, 300-pounder, Farmer is a three-star prospect according to Rivals and Scout, and currently unrated by 247Sports. Farmer’s a fast-riser, though, winning OL MVP at a Rivals camp in St. Louis — over, among other players, Lincoln Southeast’s D.J. Foster — which accelerated the recruiting process. Farmer quickly received offers from Nebraska, Missouri, Minnesota and Illinois. He’s attended NU’s first three-day session this week.
