Heard good things about the Hyundai Genesis coupe but never driven one. If Audi had a two door A4 I'd recommend that without reservation, but you don't strike me as the drop-top type.

I second the Genesis. I also like the Infinity G37, can get it in 4door.


edit: totally missed the "no sedan". G37 looks better as a 2 door anyway

Powerful and fast but for some reason doesn't say "fun" to me. I guess I consider fun to mean quick and nimble...

Might want to test drive one before you judge. These were originally built for high revving Trans-Am racing.

The G37 convertible is everywhere down here lately. Looks like a pretty nice deal. The only thing comparable is the new E series MB conv. or BMW 3 series for a lotta $$.

An A5?
I would recommend one. My roommate has one and it's very nice. You could also pick up a fairly late model used S5 for that money.

Also consider a 335, even an 09ish e92 M3

Didn't even think about the S5 or the TT; for me the A4 was an excellent vehicle to drive. Borrowed one for a few months from a family member when I was in grad school, and if I'd had it for any longer I would've either gotten a reckless driving ticket or wrecked it.

Going to be hard pressed to find any coupe that sits 4 comfortably. Now if you dont give a shit about the back seat passengers then thats a different story. You could always wait for the new BMW 4 series. That thing is going to be bad ass.
