That's only part of the quote. He was saying b/c of his style. He also said Thomas makes a lot of easy saves that are hard for him. I don't think it was that big of a deal, just more an acknowledgment of a contrast in style.

I think after letting 8 go by in game 3 and 4 go by in game 4 getting you yanked from the game, you shouldn't be throwing around an opinion like that no matter why. JMO

I see nothing wrong with what he said. In the entire quote that is...like eloco said, he's speaking to the different styles they play with. That save would be easier for Lou because he'd stay back on the goal-line more and not be as aggressive. Nothing wrong with that.

It's a heated series for all of the marbles. Even the slightest misspeak will be interpreted as war. That being said, save percentage doesn't matter as much as wins. Lounge may have given up 12 goals in two games but he still has one more win than Thomas and that matters the most.

Unfortunately, media today likes to take part of a quote and make it a bigger story than it really is.

True, but if the person talking is on the team you're not rooting for, then the comments always come off as whining or showing no class.
