The first domino to fall that will cause a big shuffle will be:

1. The BCS deciding that conference champs only will be part of the four team playoff.

2. Notre Dame will see themselves forced to make a move and will, OR FSU will make a move of a statement saying all in with the ACC.

3. Whatever didn't happen in #2 will happen.

Then the shit hits the fan:

There will be four major conferences.
The SEC, B1G and Pac 12 are safe and will go to 16.
Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech are linked on this.
Some teams will be "left behind".

A big meeting yesterday kind of set this while thing in motion involving a team and a conference.

Andy Katz ain't got nothing ON ME!!!!

Apparently not - all he had was some shit on BSU. Super Dull.

Was your above post having to do with more news you have heard, or just breaking down more what you heard yesterday?

BTW, I sure would like to know WHAT team and WHAT conference. Reading between the lines, it looks to me like ACC and ND.

Let's keep the Tommie Frazier nut hugging in the HOF thread or on the Huskerz board.

just the idea of 16 team conferences suck and will be a terrible idea. I dont see anyone out west the pac12 wants anyway, so who are they going to add? 4 football only schools?

No new news, but my friend told me it should happen before August, and if it doesn't don't expect it to happen during the season.

Think of it like eight, 8 team conferences.

then do THAT, if that is what they want. Why be a mega conference if you wont play some teams but once every 5 years anyway. Defeats the purpose of being in one conference to begin with. Ill stand with my assessment...TERRIBLE idea.

I'd take playing everyone in the B1G....and no post season period.....over 4 super conferences and whatever bullshit comes from that.

Well, it's better than voting in a champion.

Like I said in an earlier post - they're fixing something that ain't broke. I think Delany is making a disastrous mistake, if this is true. Especially if ND doesn't come with the deal.

I just don't see who certain conferences could pick up to go to 16.

The SEC's options are NCSU and who? VT doesn't want in. FSU, GT, and Clemson aren't a possibility. Neither is Louisville. Maybe Miami(doubtful).

The Big Ten are probably only interested in a select few: VT, GT, ND, and Pitt. Maybe Maryland and BC, but they already turned their nose up at Maryland.

Who the hell would the PAC add? They are probably the snootiest of the bunch.
