Realignment a product of SEC dominance

Keep winning the over-signing cup and the academic non-qualifierathon and you'll keep dominating....the national championship. You claim top to bottom, but your #2 and #3 schools have all they can handle with the supposedly pathetic Big 10's #2 and #3 teams.

Your best school is usually the best in the country. The rest of your conference acts like that means no one can hang with them....yet teams do every year. You think your runners up can take on USC, Oklahoma, Texas....but they can't even handle the B1G runners up on a yearly basis. That series is basically dead even. You're just full of yourselves. Let your champs be the champs, but this team SEC garbage is...garbage. See ya.

BAMA finished 4th in the SEC West last year and handled the Big 10 co-champs pretty well in the bowl game.

Look at the head to head dude. SEC vs B1G for the last 15 years. Go ahead. Look it up. Because that's what I'm talking about. You can't lay claim to Pac10 or Big12 wins over the B1G in this conversation... We're talking about the SEC...and how their 2nd..3rd...and 4th teams DON'T dominate like you all seem to think they do.

B1G finally has legitimacy in my eyes, FWIW. No champ game always made your "winner" a joke. At least the real conferences had a tough game at the end of the year.

So aTm is a joke even if they win the Big 12 this year like some fans expect them to? Gotcha.:hdn:

Fans that refuse to see that the SEC is simply the better conference makes me laugh. As time has gone on the debate has simmered down. Before Bama won in 09' there were a good deal of fans that wouldn't own up to it. After that there were far less fans willing to question it. Still some, but not nearly as many. After Auburn won last year many of the remaining fans left questioning it gave up and saw that there is no longer much left to debate with. Yet here are the last remaining... Still trying so hard to feel equal. Face it, the SEC has simply been the better conference.

Notice it wasn't discussed until the SEC started winning BCS Titles every year and dominating the sport. Now the other leagues feel like they are falling behind and need to pick up teams to compete.

That is funny.


Sad thing is, the SEC is still winning by getting A&M and the Texas market to add to our already dominating recruiting region.

I'll let the other states talk for themselves, but in Texas temperature does not = temperature. Temperature + humidity = temperature. Ever been to College Station? An hour north of Houston, which we all know is the armpit of Texas. It can be 80 degrees and 90% humidity and the "real" temperature is about 100 degrees and you can't breath.

Ya okay... You think you're hot in that weather during bowl season? Let's talk about 320 pound linemen, the B1G's bread and butter....

It doesn't matter if they practice in their indoor facilities. People who live in the north literally adapt to the cold. Their blood thickens to insulate heat... I get hot when it's 78 and 50% humidity.... Really hot. I've taken trips down south in the middle of winter. I was wearing shorts in 65 degrees and still sweating.

Think it doesn't matter that the B1G always plays in the SEC's back yard?

It does. No excuses. The conference has been slumping for 10 years, and the last 3 were terrible. It'll be your turn one day.
