Yea, that was one of the worst called games I've seen all year. The ump didn't have a clue where his strike zone was. That's got to be frustrating for a pitcher. Holland stepped up big tonight and was one error away from probably going 6-7 innings. Exactly what this team needed.

Can't blame the strike zone on Dutch's poor showing. To many pitches in the dirt. His performance was more a product of his inability to make quality pitches and to field his position than on called balls and strikes. He struggled with the game pressure and there ain't no way around that.

He made the error and mistake to Joyce, other than that I'd say he was pretty solid

I'm not sure about that, alf. While it wasn't his best outing it was definitely a solid playoff performance. It wasn't a good thrown to Moreland but it was a ball Mitch should have come up with. If that play is made I think he leaves the game giving up 1 run. Not bad at all.

Disagree about the throw to Moreland, that would've been one heck of a pick it bounced right in front and skipped in low, it was a terrible throw all there is to it
