For what it’s worth, I didn’t expect the Nats to become as big as they did, especially considering their struggles early on, but folks here are very loyal. They are long-suffering Redskins/Commanders fans and Capitals fans.

and it doesn't hurt to win a WS out of spite when your biggest star leaves town. They needed that.
