Sam looks very good. He tends to hold the ball a little to long at times. I like what I'm seeing though and I'm sure everyone else does as well. May not see Tmac again until 9/10.

Howell played well and will hush the nay sayers for now. Starting Oline looked decent vs backups. The run game looks a little rough right now. ST's looked good. Hard to judge the defense so many did not play. The effort was there. Would liked to have seen some hurry up or no huddle which we never seem to use other than 2 minute sequence. Not much movement "motion" tonight and likely designed that way. At least I hope because I want to see Tmac, Jahan, Curtis & Co moved around because I believe they are all interchangeable.

I liked what I saw from SH. Poised, looks downfield, stands tall n strong in the pocket and can move as well. Brown, Dotson and Turner might all do some things this year.

They were a little too giddy about the win, b ut fuck the Ravens. Lonng time though till the starters see the field again.

My thoughts:

Small sample size but I like Howell, he is mobile, great arm and spreads the ball around. He will make young QB mistakes but I am pretty excited to see him this year.

I thought the Oline played well, there were more than a few times that he stood back and went through his progressions. I saw one post accusing him of being CDC it was somewhat true at one point but he went downfield plenty and is very young in his career so I think there will be some good and bad but I am encouraged.

Terry and Jahan are bad mofo's. Whoever they decide to keep the WR room is deep.

EB will help the OLine and Sam out with play calling.

Running game was okay but not outstanding.

We all know the D played without 8 players. They looked to play straight man or zone. Forbes had a great force and Martin made a nice pick. I'll expect a lot more in week 1.

Slye had a hell of game.

Fromm outplayed Brissett.

Best of all it felt like we had our team back. Fans were fired up. There is nothing about Harris to not like. Coach Joe was there. I was excited for the first time in a long time. ...... oh and beating Baltimore any time of year is great.

As much as I hate Baltimore they are always a good team. Come from behind win against a team with a long winning streak was something to celebrate. Not to mention some of these guys who were here for a few years under dumb shit seem to be happier. It is good to be a Redskin fan again. A lot of you guys that don't live near here know how sad it had become. Folks are out again. It feels great!

Howell and the oline played well tonight. I hope Tmac is ok. Turf toe could be tricky. It was a fun game to watch. Howell 's mobility and arm are top notch.
