Too soon. That would be a whole lot of bumping.

No Kyle Shanahan. Just Kubiak and Dennison.

LOL Ravens homer. Ozzie is one of the best GMs in the league and I think that this an interesting hire. I could definitely see Flacco succeeding in Kubiak's offense.

Kubiak is a better coach than some of the guys who were hired as head coaches IMO. Great hire by the best GM in football.

He is the guy I wanted, once I knew Norv was out of the picture and I couldn't understand why there was no talk of him even in the running.....Looks like Biscuit stepped in to me and laid down the I write your check law....
And I agree, great hire, now if only Juan Casteroil would get run out of town, Dennison could take over oline and Kyle could come in as qb coach....I think we will have an offense that can balance out with the D so we can get back in the hunt next yr....,,Spoiled is hard to shake....lol

They have the most recent Lombardi and he was MVP....They just hired a high profile SB winning OC , I'd say that's pretty smart.....But everyone on the planet knows , nothing smart comes out of Putzburgh....:laugh3:

Did you look at succo's stats this season? he was like the 30th rated passer in a lot of categories..........and o, besided that nice playoff run, hes always had mediocre stats..........hence why they werent gfiving him a contract...........they pigeon holed when he had and awesome playoff run, they couldnt not pay him, the fans would revolt..............otherwise they probably move on

I do recall many a people saying they werent sure joe was the man............

You have no idea how long it can take to find an even decent QB in the NFL and how expensive they are. They absolutely did the smart thing by giving him all that money.

Not every team has a Ben Roethlisberger.

No oline or go to guy and an idiot trying to make players fit his zone blocking scheme that didn't fit, ala no run game....But last time I checked, Ben the bathroom rapist didn't set any fields on fire last yr either....
Down yrs are a part of the reality of pro football, but we got a fresh Lombardi to comfort us through ours, what exactly does Putzburgh have besides their "once upon a time" excuse ?

Rivers had a couple of bad seasons too, but he's still one of the best 5 or 6 QBs in the NFL.

The hate Flacco & Eli Manning get is ridiculous. Both of these guys have proven they are good / great QBs. They had atrocious seasons, but it's not like we're talking about Aaron Rodgers here; just because they're not all-pro' doesn't mean they aren't great.

I'd take either one of those guys over the DumbDumb Tattoo man in SF.

flacco has never had a "great" season

Yes he did. In 2012 / 2013.

And he's already won a ton of playoff games; and he's still young. His 2010 regular season was really good too.

For some ridiculous reason Matt Ryan gets a bunch of hype, and Ryan can't carry the detergent used to wash Flacco's jock much less the jock itself.

But this thread is about coaches, so let's not make this a Flacco thread.

All NFL star contracts are absurd, but that's what the market calls for....And I'm sure the whole F.O. will rest easy now that they know they have your approval for signing a SB MVP QB after 5 straight playoff appearances.....Yea, they'll be relieved to hear that I'm sure...:laugh3:
