Yeah, id definitely go after Brees first if available......Smith as an alternative.......Id only draft a QB if one fell to them in the right spot....At this rate, this could be an 8-8 type team, so the big names wont be available to them

2018 FA QBs have a few nice options. Jimmy G is also a FA, I'm better the Pats don't let him go but that means Brady may be an option.
Brittle Sam Bradford is also a FA, not my cup of tea but as a space holder until your rook is ready, he'd fit the bill. I just think the cost for Smith will be high.

I wouldn't trade for a QB if I also draft a QB. If all goes right the vet you get will be a one year rental, I'd keep my picks and go tge FA route. Brees would be my primary target.
