I can only wonder where Allen, Cerrato, and Charlie would have rated. Who knows what Soct will do here, but as a fan base we had pretty much lost hope until the hire.

Once Again props to Dan for putting the fan base and his pocket (empty seats at Fed Ex) first and props to Bruce for swallowing his pride and stepping back.

I can't believe Jerry is rated so high. Note how Chippy isn't rated yet. Love to see this rating come this time next year.

Let's not forget why he was available in the fist place. Good luck with that Scott.

I'm not sure I understand your post :noidea:

The money Rak was looking for was not ever going to be given by the Skins, given his injury history and coming off a franchise tag year that saw .5 sack production from him.

Instead SM got value and talent elsewhere.

Hopefully GMSM can turn the skins around before he inevitably succumbs to The Danny's petulance.

Early returns are VERY encouraging, especially the Pot Roast and Jeron Johnson signings, IMHO...

I think the Culliver signing was one of the biggest because he is signed for 4 years. Pot Roast will be another Darryl Gardner, here for a year, blow up, then bolt for a bigger check.

I forgot we signed Darryl Gardener in 2002. He had a very good year for us. Yes! He did leave after one year. Honestly, I am glad we signed Knighton for one year. It is quite possible that he may or may be successful, this year. At least, he can perform and possible earn his keep beyond 2015.

Problem is there is a 1 in 32 chance they sign him if he does have a big year. Then we are back to looking for a NT.

I remember Daryl Gardener's big year too. If Pot Roast play really well, GMSM will sign him to a good deal. One thing to remember is that it seems as though players generally like playing in D.C. And why wouldn't they? It's not as expensive as NYC or SF, not as remote as Seattle or Phoenix, not as crappy weather wise as Chicago, Cleveland, Buffalo, or Green Bay, and not quite as dysfunctional as Tampa Bay, or Oakland.

Plus, Dallas sucks. :-)

Also Pot Roast is very good friends with Baker so that will motivate him to at least consider staying with the Redskins. In any case I would much rather have a situation like this where the team is risking losing a guy after one year than a Haynesworth type situation where you sign the wrong guy & basically screw the team over for many, many years.

Interesting point I hadn't noticed

Anyone else notice that McC ends contracts when guys are 30?
Culliver- 26-years-old (4-yr deal)
Paea- 26 (4/yr deal)
RJF- 28 (2/yr deal)
Knighton- 29 (1/yr)

I bomb atomically
