Just be glad the Sabres are actually the ones making headlines this year instead of being the laughing stock of the NHL again.
.
Pretty sure the Coyotes have owned that title for the last 3-4 years.

When your owner is a Billionaire, there is no such thing as "overpaid."
When you ar ein a league that uses a salary cap "overpaid" exists
Not if you sign all your players and still come under the cap.
And when players become free agents and expect raises?
Are you saying that once players sign with a team they are on that team for eternity? Contracts run out eventually.

No , I said who cares if people think that the Sabres "overpaid" a player or not when the owner is a billionaire that said he's not in this to make money.
As long as the Sabres can sign the players they need to every year without going over the cap, then I could care less if a player or two is considered "overpaid."
Well I understand what you are saying, but if players are overpayed and overpayed then the overpayments will put you over the cap.
Then it's a good thing the Sabres can get rid of players with high salaries or that the cap will continute to go up.
Geez, you're a smartass...
