We shall see gentleman... It's a tall order but it is a division game...

I would bet Marvin rests players it's worth more to be healthy then be a #2 seed IMO.

We will protect our house!!!!!!!!

Have a Merry Christmas.

Marvin would be a complete idiot to repeat the same damn mistakes he has made his last three trips to the playoffs by resting players and playing vanilla just to get creamed the next week because the team is flat.

Oh...Marvin Lewis...yep, Tgann is probably right.

I think we'll be flat this week whether starters play or not.

I also think Baltimore will be flat. Miami and SD should probably both win this week (KC is almost definitely resting starters). Baltimore players know they have very little shot to make the playoffs. Motivation will be low.

Should be an ugly, low-scoring slugfest.

Baltimore will be flat after the ass-kicking we just took and the only chance of making the playoffs is a victory? I don't agree I think they are flying all over the field especially on defense which is why I think Marvin rests players.

Baltimore players know they have very little shot to make the playoffs? Baltimore as of today and of the three has the MOST shots to make the playoffs. Their is no guarantee KC rests players and Rex Ryan will have his team ready to go in his LAST game as the NY jets coach.

We have plenty of shots. We shall see either way I look for MARV to have his starters out by half.

flacco is hurt and he's going to play hurt. we will see Taylor eventually, which may confuse Rey M and yield a few ridiculous TDs

the Patriots vs Bills game is at 4pm

we can't count on the Bills losing "just because"

the patriots could rest Brady and others for the same reasons.

And Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis made it clear the Bengals are trying to win so they can at least have a shot at the second seed when the Patriots host Buffalo at 4:25 p.m.: "We'll do everything to win the game … full go."

Per Hobspin on Bengals.com, so take it for what it's worth, but if that is true the Bengals won't be resting starters.

Why wouldn't KC rest some players? They have nothing to play for. They are the only team in the AFC that is locked in.

Besides, the Bengals really don't have any starters that need resting. The offensive line is already patchwork. The defensive line works on rotations anyway, so everyone always plays. The defensive backs are already a group of mostly cast offs. If they rest up the linebackers, the backups (at least @ MLB) are already better than the starters. The same can be said for starting Gio over BJGE. If they rest Green and Jones, they still have Sanu and Hawkins who both need the reps coming off injuries themselves. The only real starter that is left is Dalton, and he needs all the reps he can get.

You're dreaming. Vegas doesn't agree with you and logic doesn't agree with you.

SD is favored to beat KC this week. Andy Reid has already stated that starters will likely rest - You think Marvin should rest his starters but Reid shouldn't? That doesn't make sense.

Miami is favored to beat the Jets. You saw the Jets when they played the Ravens. I'm assuming you saw the same thing I did -- They stink. Miami will probably win this game by two touchdowns.

The statistical matchup is strongly in favor of the Bengals.

1) Bengals 7-0 at home both SU and ATS
2) Ravens 2-5 SU and 3-4 ATS on the road
3) Bengals are scoring 34.4 ppg at home and giving up only 16.7 ppg
4) Ravens are scoring 20.7 ppg on the road and giving up 25.3 ppg

Andy Dalton has played his best football at home, throwing 18 tds vs only 5 int in home games. He's had four passer ratings of 105.5 or more at home in seven games. He's been a much different (as in not nearly as good) player on the road. The defense is only giving up 22% third down conversions in home games. They have only given up 8 TD passes at home (4 to Andrew Luck, only 4 in the other 6 games, vs 13 picks.

I expect nothing less than a solid win this Sunday.

well, that's the thing about our town.

there are plenty of seats available, who's going to buy them up? Not Bengal fans from Cincinnati.

The Ravens are a returning World Champion with playoff implications on the line, they would drive clear to Hawaii if they could all rent duck boats to do it in.

Actually most of the seats sold late were returned from the visiting team allotment. That tells me not too many Ravens fans will be here.
