TKO and I didn't. And Joe had him down at 36 where the effect is negligible.

Bunkamania had him at 14.

Foot had him at 7.

Week 1 results are in. Last year we were all terrible at the outset, too, and everybody improved over the next few weeks as order was restored.

And compared to ADP....

TKO, leading in both categories, obviously has a substantial lead over everybody.

Last year, the leader after Week 1 never relinquished it.

It would be nice if we could remove Rice totally from the game.

I was under the impression that he woukld only be out 2 games and didn't anticipate the moral police/media suspension.

Could we have him dropped to #36 in all the pools that he was entered on?

as much as that would help me, I'd have to beg for a big fat no vote on that one. the submissions are what they are, and injuries, suspensions, banishments,..well.. shit happens, is about all I have to say

RBs - Picks and Actuals

Had to break this into two pieces. Also there are are a few more guys below West, but the only big effect down there is Foot pulling a -15.68 by having Andre Williams (ADP 46, actually at 71) at 23.

In this first week Charles and Lacy mutilated everybody. Joe got -200 pts by having them 1-2. TKO got off "easy" by only getting -144 for them. Foot got off really easy by them only costing him -92, but he made up for it with Gerhart at #1. TKO had Ball and Forte 1-2, and neither of them screwed the pooch too badly, and that makes a big difference.

A couple of better weeks from Charles and Lacy will help everybody.

QBs - Picks and Actuals

As an added wrinkle, kramer1 chimed in late, but only with QBs. And so far is doing quite well....

So kramer1 is leading even TKO by 24 pts.

By the way, glad we didn't make any special considerations for Rice... that's one big ol' can of worms that stayed closed.

Week 2 Results

kramer1 still leads the QB race.

Well, Sam, you did get a bump, picking up more than 200 pts overall.

Unfortunately for all of us, the biggest bump went to ESPN, which picked up over 300, followed by ADP, which picked up 250.

TKO got a modest bump, and the pack is closing on him fast.

wilwhite got an even more modest bump, and managed to go from second-best to second-worst in a single week.

And Foot is going the wrong way... turn around, Foot!

Not gonna lie. The graph is hysterical. Foot's dotted line heading towards Miami is priceless. I think I have a permanent grin on my face.

Take a lesson kids. As different as you think you are, most are still following the crowd. And when we say that Foot thinks outside the box - we really do mean that he thinks outside the box! And we have the data to prove it.

QBs - Picks and Actuals

kramer1 is on top (with the only positive score) largely because he was higher than most on Luck and Ryan, exactly right (today) on Dalton, and lower than most on Romo and RGIII.

Foot is especially clobbered by RGIII - switch that to the ADP pick of 14, and he'd be kind of in the middle of the pack on QBs. Carr at 6 hasn't hurt him.

The most consistent pick was Brees - nobody has him lower than 4, and only three have him higher than 2.

Different camps on Cam. Seven have Cam at 15th or lower, while six have him at 8th or higher.
