I'd say he had flashes. He had the fewest starts and the fewest number of passes, but the most passing TD's and had zero interceptions.Brandon Peters proved he was starting quarterback caliber? When did that happen? He had one good game. They are really sucking on the Harbaugh fountain.
He played against Rutgers, Maryland, Minnesota, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. So he played one remotely decent team and only lasted three quarters against Wisconsin. Only attempted more than 18 passes once, against SCarolina. He missed three of the best defenses they played while Lewerke had to play against Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan’s defense. I’m not even high on Lewerke but come on.I'd say he had flashes. He had the fewest starts and the fewest number of passes, but the most passing TD's and had zero interceptions.
People are loving Lewerke who finished with a 124 passer rating. Peters had a 142 rating.
I feel more uncomfortable about anointing Patterson a top 6 QB than saying Peters proved he could be a starter.
I'll say this, we were beating Wisconsin until he went down. I think he could be a legitimate starter. He was only a sophomore last year and split time all year with Speight and Okorn during camp.He played against Rutgers, Maryland, Minnesota, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. Yes, he COULD be a legitimate starter, but he sure as hell did not PROVE he was one last year.I'll say this, we were beating Wisconsin until he went down. I think he could be a legitimate starter. He was only a sophomore last year and split time all year with Speight and Okorn during camp.

I see you have your custom Homer Glasses super glued to your head again. Here are Brandon Peter's #'s from last year: 6 game / 57-108 (52.8%) 672 yards / 4 TD's / 2 int's.![]()
Weird.....ESPN doesn't list those:"had zero interceptions"

I wonder if they weren't updated after the bowls? WHen you click Peters, it clearly lists the INTs for the bowl games. Huh....stupid ESPN.

Can't argue that one. Hopefully he does a 180 this year.Silliness. Browning is a decent QB who disappears in the biggest games.
Good thing he isn't the best QB in that room.Silliness. Browning is a decent QB who disappears in the biggest games.
Eason's name keeps coming up in these articles but he might not even win the starting position next year.Good thing he isn't the best QB in that room.
I'm probably a little biased because he is from my back yard but I like Yankoff's skill set.Eason's name keeps coming up in these articles but he might not even win the starting position next year.
This ^^ ... Yankoff is mobile, something the other three aren't.I'm probably a little biased because he is from my back yard but I like Yankoff's skill set.
