Why not? You could just immediately cut the RB & WR. You're telling me if you owned Tannehill, Foster & Parker you wouldn't trade them for Aaron Rodgers?
I was under the assumption you were going to play the season with the Rodgers and the worst RB and WR. By the way if Miami could trade those three for Rodgers they better do so, at least it gives them a chance starting in 2017.

Haha well why would I play the worst RB & WR? I would still do the trade though so I could have Rodgers. It's about the QB in a QB league. I am not even convinced the Dolphins are going to play Foster a whole lot this season anyway...

Well this is an easy one. Pitt: Big Ben, Bell and Brown.
No doubt and not even close really. But if you read it the guy goes by week 1 projected lineup so doesn't use Bell. These rankings aren't worth the bandwith they take up to read, but always start discussions. Funny Pitt is still #3 even with Williams, GB is #2 with Lacey and how the heck is Az #4 with that trio? They don't appear to be close to top 10 in talent, let alone #4 and then you see TB and Jax in the top 10 and you realize either this guy is a moron or there are just no good trios!!!

I'd probably tussle over Maclin being put in over Kelce (Kelce opens up the offense more than Maclin does, imo) but either way I am fine.

Hmm Maclin gets hurt and this young Kelce fellow goes 6 for 23 in the most important game of his life. Looks like he needs Maclin.

Nah. When your #1 WR (the #2 is Chris Conley who had his hand held in Andy's offense his rookie year) in that game is Albert Wilson and your #1 RB (who then got hurt during the game) is Charcandrick West, the 3rd best RB on the roster, there's really nothing stopping Hoody from double bracketing Kelce and sitting on package plays which they did all night. Knile Davis, the 4th RB on the roster, fumbled away a likely scoring drive in Pats territory as the Chiefs were stumbling into some momentum. Pats DB's were breaking towards where the option was going before the WR or TE even got there. That's like saying Justin Houston is a bum for not putting heat on Brady with a stretched ACL.

Just a matter of limited weaponry on offense that Andy couldn't scheme out of nor Smith could carry them kicking and screaming. The pass protection was also pretty bad outside of Fisher and Allen at LT and LG respectively. Maclin could only cut one direction that night which was to his right and the Pats pretty much knew that and that's also evident on film. There was no Edelman equivalent that night for the Chiefs to keep defenders off their athletic TE if you will which is important for a team that likes to employ Y-ISO and multiple TE concepts in their passing game. It's doubly bad when you rely on package plays to make up for general defecits passing the ball like the Chiefs have been doing for really three years now.

It's not an accident they invested another two picks at the WR position this past draft and invested at both tackle positions in the offseason.

Lot of snaps looking like that ^

Give Maclin back please if you don't appreciate him.

Yeah, Cowboys shouldn't be #1. Elliott is just a rookie, Romo is barely a top 10 QB.

Oh I do. Just pointing out the offense doesn't survive if you take away the #1 WR (Maclin) and the running game (Charles, Ware, and West) at the same time to go along with a poor pass pro O-line. Bashing Kelce for not carrying the offense is a bit much knowing that...

Ranking Eliot as the No. 4 RB in the league is more than a little ridiculous. Here is a list of the RBs drafted in the top over the past 10 years.

Reggie Bush
Adrian Peterson
Darren McFadden
C.J. Spiller
Trent Richardson
Todd Gurley

One HoFer. One very promising young player and a bunch of guys that varied from sometimes good to mostly terrible.

I wasn't bashing Kelce, you were bashing Maclin. Maclin > Kelce.

It's almost as if they play different positions.

It's almost as if one guy is the number one option and the other is the number two option and less important.

I'd rather have Kelce. Lots of receivers in the league as good as Maclin. Not many TEs as good as Kelce.

That's completely irrelevant. The guy made his list and included Elliott, not Bush or Spiller or AP. Who knows why he did it. And making a list of top 10 RBs and pretending it is a reflection on Elliott is silly . Why do people always try to compare completely different players based on things like where they were drafted??? I crack up at draft time when someone's reason for not taking a player is based on how someone else in a similar draft spot did.

Maybe he liked him in College or had a dream he'd be good? Who cares it's his opinion. GB is #2, I'm sure I can come up with a list of RBs that got heavy and were good and weren't good after. But none of those are Lacy. Of course it's a stretch to put Dallas there, but look at the rest of the league? If you don't count Bell there are no good trios without huge questions. It's an opinion piece. Post your list of 32 if you disagree. I think these lists are stupid but if I made one I'm keeping Bell in and putting Pitt at #1 and leaving the rest of the top 5 blank because none impress me that much. But Dallas is going to be on there pretty close to the top along with GB once I do start listing teams and that has nothing to do with being a Dallas fan and everything to do with being an NFL fan.

Yes, Kelce would be second fiddle on a lot of teams. The best guy to throw to on the Chiefs is Maclin.
