U know cj Anderson lost his job to Ronnie Hillman last year right?
You know CJ Anderson was hurt when he lost his job to Ronnie Hillman last year right?

Just look at their carries in the playoffs. Anderson had 54 carries compared to 32 for Hillman. And Anderson was far more effective with his carries.

15 carries for 72 yards (that's 4.8 per carry) and a touchdown against the Steelers in the playoffs seems pretty effective to me. Certainly more effective than any Steelers back managed against Denver last year, regular season or playoffs.

Dallas makes #1 and the running back has not even run 1 carry in the NFL so far
Well, that's not scaring away fantasy players. Elliott is the #3 RB off the board right now in ESPN leagues, behind AP & Gurley.

I know that sumbitch averaged 7.5 yards a carry, over 100 yards and 2 tds, 1 was game winning vs the Pats in reg season to help them get HFA

Granted one was the game winning 46 yard yard run in OT still good game and 2 TD's. I think he is a good back when healthy SP
hes decent, but hes underperformed, hence why hes never locked the job down, it wasnt always injuries

Bro you guys have the no#1 receiver in the game, one of the top backs in Bell ( lay off the weed with Blount please) and top 5 QB. Either Tomlin is the problem, or they need a better secondary. Pats have been shitty against the run and so so in secondary. We have top offenses but D's are suspect. BTW I'm still bitter that Pitt lost that game to Denver in playoffs, you guys would have to travel to Gillette and after 2 physical games, Cinci and Denver, would have been banged up

? ? Just saying that imo you guys have a top notch team that should make some serious noise but seems to fall short and wondering if it's Tomlin or more on the secondary. Last season NE not making the SB was all on Belichick. He coached like a lunatic last 6 games and AFCG too

You don't know what you're talking about. 2013 he was an undrafted rookie behind Moreno, Ball (a second round pick), and Hillman. He wasn't even expected to make the team but he had such a great camp and preseason that he did.

2014 he was the number 3 back behind Ball and Hillman but due to their injuries and ineffectiveness he ascended to the top spot week 10 against Oakland and was the number one back the second half of the season.

2015 he entered camp as the number one guy but got hurt in the first preseason game. He tried to play through it but it clearly hurt him as he wasn't nearly as effective as he had been. So the Broncos gave more carries to Hillman and then began splitting the carries between them. They would use Hillman early in games, then as the defense wore down they'd hit them Anderson. They basically did that all the way up to the Super Bowl, when Anderson got the start and the vast majority of the carries.

Despite all of that, he finished 24th in total yards rushing and had a higher ypc than Peterson, Bell, Miller, McFadden, and Ingram, among many others. And after the bye week (when he was finally healthy), he averaged 6.35 ypc.

Now I know 24th isn't great, but I'm not arguing that he's a top 5 or even top 10, but there are definitely not 28 week 1 starters in the NFL that are better than him.

These are not the NFL triplets of yesteryear. Pretty weak overall.
