10) Kansas - Saying Kansas has struggled this last decade would be a nice way of putting it. They have consistently been terrible and fan support is almost non-existent. It's also not an easy place to bring in talent.

I don't know how Baylor does it, despite the Admin being POS.. they still attract good coaches. And despite it being a private school, being in Waco is a good median for players in DFW, HOU, and CenTex.

Currently, I would rate Oklahoma as a better job than Texas because the Sooners have been much more consistent for the last several years & always recruit well in the state of Texas.

I would put the Longhorns second, despite their tons of money & recruiting base, because they have spent so much time spinning their wheels under their last three head coaches.

Oklahoma St. would be third, based on resources & consistency. From there, we go by tiers, with TCU & West Virginia splitting the 4th tier; Baylor, Kansas St., Texas Tech & Iowa St. occupying the 5th tier; and Kansas bringing up the rear.

OU has always been the better job. Just look at the last 80 years. You put an OU great coach against a texass great coach. OU,always comes out on top.

OU has just as many ex OU players, now coaching in Texas HS.

Texas still is the last school in the Big 12 to win a championship and I would bet 1k that they will win a championship before ou or any other big 12 team. Sure we do the less with most, but that just shows you how much better the job in Austin is compared to have to being over achievers in Norman... who still can't field a defense and makes the conference look bad on the big stage.

Between PPV and FoxSW, OU makes almost the same as texASS.
OU has always been a bigger brand then texASS. We brought in, more money through the BCS and we still bring in more now with the playoffs. For the BigXII conference.
