Surprised McCloughan isn't getting more love after the draft he just had in Washington.

Steve Keim is the best. No I'm not a homer, he had the least to work with when he showed up in AZ and has turned us in to a consistent winner these last three years. I completely trust everything this guy does.

Grigson? WTF has he done besides make the biggest no brainer pick of the decade?

Let's see him address the crappy offense he's put on the field. The rams only offense is the RB they just drafted. They have had the worst offense in the league for a few years now.

His second round pick RT Havenstein made the All rookie team, allowed no sacks on the season

I love the way Ted Thompson builds through the draft - just wish he would dabble a bit more in FA

It's a great thing for sure.

Just to be able to build a team like that without any high priced mercenaries. Very much unlike the current SB champs....

But you do need 1 or 2 in key spots to turn the trick.

Well he kept the colts staying contenders beyond Manning.

Easy division and the most no brainier of a 1st round pick in a long time. He also is the guy willing to trade a 1st round pick for the biggest bust of a RB. He also was the guy when they had a ton of cap space went and spent it on over the hill veterans and then followed that up by using the draft on positions they had no need for and ignored the biggest issues on the team from the year before on the OL and DL. It ended up getting their biggest weapon in Luck injured very badly this year.

I would honestly put him closer to bottom 10 than top-10.

Youth can sometimes overlook that and hybrid RBs. Nelson's done it with Rodgers in GB. The colts division isn't where its at. They have won the last three years against some good teams. They beat the potent broncos offense in 13, won in tough places like KC, beat Seattle in a game they were trailing early, won in SF. Luck with all his oline issues last year was still able to beat Denver. Gore and Johnson were desperation moves because of losing to NE. I'm sure they will go back to what they were doing before.

How anyone has Grigson in the top 10 is beyond me. Reminds me of all the praise people heap on Polian for his time in Indy. Outside of taking 2 no-brainer picks they really didn't do all that much.

I give him credit for making the list but it is a pretty bizarre list. Grigson in the top 5 is laughable. Reese in the top 10 is a howler as well.

McCloughan is way too low. So are Snead and McKenzie.

Here is my list.

.Bill Belichik
2.John Schneider
3.Ozzy Newsome
4.Ted Thompson
5.Steve Keim
6. John Elway
7. Kevin Colbert
8. John Dorsey
9. Reggie McKenzie
10.David Gettleman
11. Scot McCloughan
12.Rick Smith
13.Mike Maccagnan
14.Rick Spielman
15.Les Snead
16.Trent Baalke
17.Doug Whaley
18.Jerry Reese
19.Thomas Dimitrioff
20.Mike Brown
21.David Caldwell
22.Mickey Loomis
23.Bob Quinn
24.Chris Grier(the only unproven, the rest have track records remaining)
25.Jerry Jones
26.Howie Roseman
27.Ryan Grigson
28.Tom Telesco
29. Ryan Pace
30.Jon Robinson
31.Jason Licht

Bottom 10 or so are probably interchangeable.

I think Belichick the coach is a lot better than Belichick the GM. I still think he's a good GM, but I don't think he's the best. Other than Randy Moss, he never has been able to find that big, outside receiver for Brady, and they haven't been able to find a decent running back for Brady, either.

What the Patriots do better than most is taking guys off the scrap heap and making them good players. Guys that other teams released, low round draft picks, that's where the Patriots make their hay, but it seems like a lot of their high round picks don't pan out.

The old Carolina GM that built the team would probably be top 5 if he was still in the league
