Afternoon game today
Hate to say it but he may take a roster spot 2022. Guys like Willie may be on the bubble.when he debuted, I mentioned that Woodward said Ibanez rated with the highest ability to hit all pitches in the system. Seems to a fair assessment now.
Would not be opposed to seeing what we can get in a trade for WillieHate to say it but he may take a roster spot 2022. Guys like Willie may be on the bubble.
Injuries have stunted him reminiscent of Profar

I know but it wouldn’t hurt to see if someone takes him. Either that or DFA him after the season and see if someone claims himHe has zero trade value.
I don't think him and Ibanez are interchangeable anyway. They could ultimately decide to keep both or to move on from both.He has zero trade value.

Of course but there are limited roster spots. Both are not that great defensivelyI don't think him and Ibanez are interchangeable anyway. They could ultimately decide to keep both or to move on from both.
Not interchangeable? Ibanez went into the game to replace Calhoun the day he broke his arm.I don't think him and Ibanez are interchangeable anyway. They could ultimately decide to keep both or to move on from both.
Keep in mind that bad luck is a very sad part of the game. Not interchangeable? Ibanez went into the game to replace Calhoun the day he broke his arm.
Lol
I like Willie Calhoun a lot and feel he has just had bad luck. I bet he has a good year next year.
Ibanez is primarily an infielder. He can play OF in a pinch. He played there once in his long minor league career and once so far up here. When they brought him up, Woody mentioned him playing 1B, 2B, and 3B. Willie is an OF. Therefore, to me, they are not interchangeable. Not interchangeable? There are limited roster spots, but I don't see that coming into play in their situation. They fill out different spots on the roster.Of course but there are limited roster spots. Both are not that great defensively
Is this the same Leody we know?
