That is the exact role Feldman is made for. Long relief, and he was lights out. 2IP, 1H, 19 pitches with 68% strikes. Feldman is normally good for 3 innings unless he gives up a couple of hits. He shouldn't be used for anything more than a one-time-thru-the-rotation relief. He is good at that, but can't get guys out the second time around.
I actually thought Feldman was not too bad against a good Whitesox line-up during his last start considering what he had done in his previous starts. Your right his perfect role is long relief. BTW R.Ross has been spectacular in his relief stints so far. Did you watch Profar and Olt in the futures game yesterday?
