Our pitchers come off the DL.

Oswalt looked good his first game, but since then, pure crap.

Plan B has to be Holland and Lewis coming back but still believe JD is also looking hard at either Greinke or Hamels as Plan B1

Really? right before we signed him everyone thought he was the saving grace for the staff,

Putting us in position to win doesn't change the fact that he's pitched pretty poorly in all of his starts, he just happened to win 2 of them

Even Feldman has put us "in position" to win in his last 2 starts

Nobody said he would put this team on his shoulders. Those of us advocating his signing knew and still know he was the best option with our current state of affairs. Yeah, he had a couple of crap starts. He's still a veteran that knows how to pitch and all any of us ever wanted from him was to keep us in games and give us a chance to win. Nobody was expecting the 20 game winner. You're fooling yourself if you think he's the only rangers pitcher with a crap start this year, or did you forget your beloved Feliz's awful start in Toronto?

I didn't see last night's start but saw the one before. He's still got a major leaugue fastball in the low 90's and changes speed well into the mid 80's.

He gave up 7 hits on 0-2 counts. Crazy.

Is it because he had no spring training and only 4 minor league starts?

I don't know but Clemens and Pettitte didn't seem too have trouble coming in at mid-season.

If the next start is bad look for him headed for the DL for some reason and trade deadline rumors to start increasing.

Oswalt has yet to have a good game, YET and is getting worse as he goes, shouldn't he be trending the OTHER way?

Even in his "good start" in Colorado he gave up 10 baserunners in 6.2 innings, that start was more a product of luck than skill

Maybe he'll turn it around, but but I feel justified in calling out his lack of performance to this point

Well I did not feel good about this series wth Oswalt and Feldman pitching back to back. Figured we could get one win out of this series with Harry pitching tomorrow. Feldman actually settled down and pitched well enough for us to have a chance to win tonite. Napoli has to start picking it up with the bat.
