Honestly... would prefer some killer hitting. Offense the past 2 weeks has won games against the bottom of MLB. That kind of offense will not win games vs DET ... let alone OAK (which TEX has a losing record against).

I would too, but the rangers teams of old had no other weapons when they weren't hitting. If they weren't hitting they had no chance at winning. That's the great thing about this team.

Every team is going to have periods like this. With this team they can still find a way to win the games they're supposed to, even when they aren't swinging the bats. They have speed, and base running skills, and can manufacture a couple runs and have the pitching to hold on to right ball games. The old rangers teams wouldn't have won 10 of their last 12 with the way they have been at the plate no matter who they played.
