But his ERA has gone up from 3.21 to 4.56 since the beginning of July, not quite 2 runs,

Problems really started in the middle of July, when he's gone from 3.59 to 4.56 in his last 5 starts (as of the 5th inning tonight)

Back off of your ledges, Darvish is going through a patch, but the talent is certainly there

Hitters have firgured him out faster than he's figuring them out, he'll be fine, but he's obviously rattled right now and probably needs to be pulled

Calling him a piece of shit is just childish and pointless, have a little more maturity than that on a public forum, in fact the cussing as a whole seems to have gotten a bit out of control

I understand on occasion to vent or what not, but not every post when things aren't going how you want

I forgot that you somehow feel that it is your job to be critical of posters. That seems to be your MO. Get a clue pops, just about everyone on here feels the same way about their performance, and specefically Darvish's performance. If you don't like the pattern of discussion, leave. Hey jta, I don't mind losing a baseball game. There are 162 of them. Its going to happen, a lot. What I do mind is boneheaded managing, which the Rangers get way more than their fair share of, boneheaded baserunning, which the Rangers do way more than the average baseball team, lollygagging outfielders who can't seem to be bothered to hustle half the time, and pitchers who act like junior high girls (read: Holland) and overhyped Japanese pitchers who inevitably break down once the calendar hits August. But then, that's just my opinion.

I have a problem with all those as well,

Don't get Holland acting like a high school girl though,

Don't think Darvish is overhyped, most people who are reasonable thought he would struggle at some point, he's just not pitchig around the walks like he was earlier in the year

I'm not sure what the problem is now, other than (like I said), the hitters are figuring him out faster than he's figuring them out

this is a horrible loss considering the rangers had darvish going against a scrub like cook who is 0-4 in his last 5 starts. and they failed to get that awful taste of yesterdays boneheaded loss out of their mouth
