I have too many better things to do with my time than spend 3 hours watching my team put a stupid lineup on the field. Until I see Gentry starting in CF routinely ... I am not wasting a single instant of my time watching them.

My next step will be to hold my breath until I turn purple.

Wash says Olt will play in the field tonight. From T.R. Sullivan ...

"The skipper said he doesn't want to use Olt as a designated hitter at this point.

"He's too young to DH," Washington said.

Julio Borbon played his first ML game on 29 Jun 2009 ... @ DH. In that 2009 season Borbon started 4 games in CF, 16 games in LF, and 21 games as DH.

Borbon was 6 months younger than Olt when they each had their first appearance. Funny how the older Olt is too young to DH yet the younger Borbon wasn't.

Just doesn't compute ... why start your backup catcher at DH ... and sit Olt. Makes no sense ... and the explanation makes even less sense given history.

Got to find that justification to play Young everday, thats all it is

Even at the expense of guys like Gentry and Kinsler, who was 10-19 in the previous 4 games and obviously was needing a day off at that point

I've already posted about Gentry, who has 4.3 more WAR than Young in 240 fewer ABs, with an OPS 136 points higher against RHPs, which is apparently his weakness... but not Young's

And now Gentry can't get a start against LHPs

One of the Real Sad Things of this Rangers Season has been the Demise of Michael Young. His Pop in His Bat is Gone. Never really a Good Fielder even in His Prime but Face was having 200 Hit Seasons and even Won a Batting Title in 2005. But Athletes lose their Hand Eye Coordination as they get older.

Its a travesty not to have Gentry in the line-up tonite. As far as Wash goes, the Nolan and JD cant be pleased with all of his in game blunders.

I really hope they're considering alternatives. If I'm in that clubhouse and my name is gentry,Elvis, Moreland, Murphy, etc I'm a pissed off.
