Gentry was hitting some when he first came up, then really hasn't been doing much lately. With Nelly out till the end of the month we will really need him to step it up the way Murphy is right now.

Bedard just doesn't seem to have great command today. Texas hitters doing a nice job of staying patient. He's showing them a lot of his off speed stuff. Hoepfully once the guys see it once through the lineup they can start sitting on it.

If you think it is stupid I guess it is, but I am an older guy (40) and I grew up thinking the old stadiums like fenway and Old Tiger Stadium were pretty cool. I guess it is individual taste.

How can McCarver emphatically say that Hamilton's day game problems are due to glare? He doesn't know that. No one has ever said what was up. That would be good since we got into it early last night. Not as good since the rosters have already expanded. 3 runs in the first three innings is nice, but I think this offense is right on the verge of exploding on Bedard. Just a couple of guys have connected to go deep yet.
