Good bounce back game, Ranger fans, see you guys on Tuesday night!
Yeah Pasta, Tampa looks pretty good to me also.doobie, i must correct something i posted when we first discussed this series, that the rangers were the team to beat in the east, my mistake, its tampa, they represented the east last year, well anyway, good luck to both teams tonite, let the players figure it out! no injuries please!
Seems like you called it regarding Staal & Girardi, Pasta. Now all of a sudden, they're all calling for Staal & Girardi to be traded.Hey doobie, just got down to the south Florida home, and you would have been real proud , of the many boats that passed by today some kid was holding a blown up penguin proudly as he went by, congrats my friend, hope you go the distance! As far as the other board you mentioned, on occasion , i have stopped by to see if there was anything of interest to read, nothing!!! But I did get a huge laugh at the one who claims to be the masheeacha, who posted' who could ever have predicted m staal & girardi would have fallen so fast!!! R u kidding meathead!!!! I have been banned by that buffoon for posting exactly that for years!!!! What a tool. Lol

Won't be surprised if they start agreeing with @stealth regarding Lundqvist also.
For the first time ever, I'll admit you were 100% right about Lundqvist. He should get more blame than everyone else for what happened to the Rangers. Raanta should've started game 5 IMO.LOOK at the numbers on HANKS vulnerable areas....its crazy how he chokes all the time in those areas. THE new GM isn't helping the cause either. HANK was complete shit at the end of the season and the 1st round postseason. HE made his front 5 feel like they had to play defense all the time and thus not getting enough offensive opportunities. RAANTA ...The question now is can he hold his own, Major goaltending issues ahead for the GM.
I think you could only put so much blame on the team. Keep in mind, they would've had to score 6-7 goals to win some of these games. I'm just saying that it makes a lot more sense to blame Henrik Lundqvist than to blame Alain Vigneault. Most people are blaming Vigneault for stupid things (e.g. not yelling at the refs, not playing Dylan McIlrath enough, & playing Tanner Glass too much). Let's say he had yelled at the refs, played Dylan McIlrath, & scratched Tanner Glass - would that have really changed anything?Don't even get me started on how it's all not Hank's fault, i'm tired of seeing this fan base bash him, I can't wait for him to request a trade and we're left with Hellberg or Skapski as the starter and a bottom feeder for many years to come.

This is true, but what if we're only talking about this year? For the past 11 years, Hank has done it on his own, this team would be AWFUL had they not drafted and developed him the way they did. He has CARRIED mediocre teams to the playoffs 10/11 years

Wait a second, @Johnnydollaz89, you're trying to say he was called "The King of New York" before he even came to New York?NY didn't annoint him "The King" he had the nickname before he even got tk NY....
Also, 15-4 in elimination games in his career, i'd say that was pretty clutch.
