If you're worried about keeping Ross's innings down going down the stretch why pitch him here? Why not go with Lowe?

This team is killing it today. You also have to love the bat Soto has been bringing lately.

Ian going to right center for a three run triple. This whole team is getting red hot.

Been having a hard time the last two days being on here. Dealing with a back strain from lifting. So just enjoying watching the Rangers bringing it with the offense and good starting pitching. Honestly there is nothing you can find wrong with this team right now.

I would have liked to see Ross, who hasn't looked that great lately and just pitched yesterday, not be used in a blowout.

Yeah, I'm not getting his use of Ross lately.

Soto's on a (garbage) 6 game hitting streak that has him batting (a garbage) .391 over that span.

Also, not going to read too much into this, but how awesome has our offense been since Wash has been forced to not include PADMY in the lineup due to paternity leave every day. Call me crazy, but this offense suddenly seemed to just click without him clogging up the middle of the lineup. Sure as shit though Wash will have him back in there as soon as he comes back.

... or maybe Wash knew exactly when MY's wife was due and rather than rile up MY ahead of the timetable ... gave MY the opportunity to step out of the roster for a few days on his own.

Soon as it is September and rosters expand Wash can rest his veterans giving MY more opportunity to be resting up for the post season.

Maybe ...

IMO, Michael Young will have to take himself out of the line up and that is not going to happen with his quest for 3,000 hits and possible, but highly unlikely, HOF consideration ( mention).
I'm betting there will be one hell of a hissy fit that will make the previous two look like a day at the beach when it's time to reduce his playing time.

Unfortunately there just isn't a clean way out of this.

Willingham should've never seen anything on the inside half of the plate. That was stupid Scott.

Think you are right. At this moment MY needs 809 hits to get to 3000. If he were to average 221 hits (his best year) ... that will take him 3 seasons plus 106 games in a 4th season to get to 3000. That isn't going to happen.
