Napoli has played 22% more innings, and has essentially the same defensive numbers after you factor in the additional playing time

Honestly I can't wait until YT and Lowe are gone so I don't have to hear your BS about them anymore

Tateyama optioned and Luis Martinez called up from Round Rock to allow Napoli recovery time at least until the LAA series.

Now just hope Wash gives Martinez the playing time to show he's more effective offensively and defensively than the current #2.

So much for sliding to avoid injury.

Wonder if it would be better for Napoli (and TEX) for him to be placed on the DL. When you are ice cold and guessing at the plate days off where you are still active doesn't mean as much as a 15 day hard reset might.

Maybe when he comes back he'll have a new partner.

regarding MY's defense, the last 2 nights he has shown his ineptitude defensively costing the rangers dearly. on friday he was bailed out big time by horrible baserunning. the rangers have to pick up a solid right handed bat off the bench that can play 1B/3B. not that it would work, but a mark reynolds type who i think at this point in his career is turning into more of a rotational player because of his K's. he might be to pricey though, although the rangers and O's have been frequent trade partners over the last couple of season. and i'm sure the oriole brass knows deep down that they arent going to do anyhting this year, especially with hammel going down

just for shits and giggles, mark reynolds for scheppers and engel beltre. some of you might not want to give up on scheppers, but there is still a lot of pop in reynolds bat that could be a high reward return

The O's are contenders this year. I doubt they'd get rid of Reynolds.

Harry seems to be having trouble finding the zone consistently today.

so far, but as i mentioned in my previous post, you have to think that oriole brass deep down knows they arent going to beat out the rays, redsox, tigers, or angels (as it stands right now) for potential wild card spots. it would make sense for them to get young, talented pitching in return and an outfielder with upside.

Seemed like Harry was pitching around Figgins. Not sure why

seems like the rangers havent been running as much lately. especially with gentry. the offense is struggling, seems like a good running game would help. (i'm talking baseball, not football ;))

Atta boy Beltre. Aside from Josh's monstrous tear Beltre has been the best player on this team this season.

Right now I would take Beltre. Do you think Josh will hit below 300 by seasons end? My heart says no but my gut says yes
