Never mind if any of these kids are ready for a ML look. I mean, Choice's time in the bigs was so beneficial for him.

They aren't the same player. The way they handled Choice was a mistake. He spent way to much time in the bigs while struggling. His confidence is low right now.

I'm not suggesting anything drastic. I just think now is the perfect time to be giving youngsters a look at the ML level. I don't give a shit if Carp and JPA play anymore the rest of the year because I hope neither is on the team next year. Although, we might lose more games to end the year with them in there.

The rosters expand though...why would they get rid of JPA and Carp?

I didn't say they should. I said I wouldn't care if they did, especially Carp. I know the rosters expand, so I don't see why the argument over it.

I'd rather they not fuck with Rua's development. Obviously they didn't think he was nearly ML ready or they would've used him when both Fielder and Moreland went down.

That was a month and a half into the year. He's batting almost .300 now. At that time they would have been rushing him.

It's not a big deal. I guess we'll see if they call him up in a few days.

I just don't care enough. Carp sucks, but idk if Rua is ready for the majors.

Rua didn't start playing 1B until those two went down. They were really late to the party in trying Rua at 1B. That is the biggest reason he didn't come up then.

I agree. I would rather see Rua than Rosales, JPA or Carp. He has already played a lot more at AAA than a lot of players who we have called up in the past.

Rua has 24 career games at 1B (14 in 2012 and 10 this year - 4 in AAA & 6 in AA)

Getting him time at 1B is obviously not a priority
