Wainwright must have spent his time off last season eating HGH for breakfast, that HR was crushed tonight! HAHA, JK
So true.
Brett Nicholas has more than held his own as a catcher too. If Gim is cleared to play soon will they demote Nicholas because he has options and Holaday doesn't?
So when Choo Choo comes back, does Mazra go to left field? How is this going to play out?
Hard to say. Deshields will stay on the roster and we'll have to make a decision about who to move off the 25 man roster. As much as I hate to say it, sending Mazara back to AAA and letting Rua get more time in LF probably makes the most sense. Basically you're deciding between Mazara and Rua and whoever stays will not be an every day player. As much as I like Rua I'd rather see Mazara playing every day, even if it has to be in AAA.
Maz has to play. He has been one of the best position players on the team. Choo-Desmond-Maz start the majority of the games. There is no way one of the best players in Maz sits on the bench. Just my opinion.Hard to say. Deshields will stay on the roster and we'll have to make a decision about who to move off the 25 man roster. I like his overall makeup. The thing that bothers me the most about Holaday is his bat speed or lack thereof. He does a good job behind the plate.Brett Nicholas has more than held his own as a catcher too. If Gim is cleared to play soon will they demote Nicholas because he has options and Holaday doesn't?
I am with you on this.When/If Rua is moved I will shed tears but it seems the writing may be......

Keuchel took another loss. That Rangers game started him on a tailspin. Angels lost too.![]()
His lack of control and loss of velocity has hurt him.Keuchel took another loss. That Rangers game started him on a tailspin. Angels lost too.![]()

I heard the radio guys on ESPN here in DFW saying that Desmond moves to CF and Marza moves to LF. Where's the love for Rua? lol
Guess this isn't a bad thing to have for the team....lots of good players and not enough positions.
Holaday is just not the better hitter to me, and from what I've seen from Brett his defense isn't all that bad. Probably needs to get better w his receiving work but that can get better with reps
