I like that Deshields kid. what makes him valuable to the team is that he's an excellent lead off hitter. A role that Martin and Elvis can't do effectively right now. If you take him out, you disrupt the whole lineup. I don't think bannister and the Rangers staff are that stupid. If wash was here, I'd be much more concerned about it than I am.

For a RH hitter very seldom does it matter if it is a RHer or a LHer pitching. Wash had a hard time understanding that.

When he started playing every day, this lineup hot consistent. I hope Banny realizes that. Martin hasn't lost his position to injury. He's been flat out out played.

Beltre for a while was starting to hit some rockets but seems to have tailed back off some on making solid contact. I know it will come back so I am not worried.
