It’s also true they have lost 8 in a row. It’s also true they are not far from being completely out of the playoffs. It’s also true that most of their bullpen is trash right now. It’s also true, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. You act like they have a 10 game lead and this slump is not an issue.

Show me where I EVER acted like the slump wasn’t troublesome. Please. Go right ahead. I specifically said it was bad. I never acted like it wasn’t a big deal. I simply said it wasn’t a reason to write off the season completely.

And if “it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish” is what you want to go with… show me where they’re finished. 33 games to go. I said let’s wait and SEE how they finish. I even went so far as to say if they finish the season like they’re playing right now, they’re done.

This is downright hilarious that so many people have such a problem with me saying I’m not quitting on them with 33 games left to pay and a lot can change. I never once said they were or weren’t making the playoffs. I said because baseball was so weird, I wasn’t going to give up yet.

Yeah obvious or holes but get 7-8 innings for Scherzer Eovaldi and Montgomery then we have a shot. Of course the bats need to be there too
I think that talent is there batwise but do they have the most to grind out ABs. They have to learn this. The experience is needed

it helps to take the walks at times. This lineup without Adolis may shed some light.

He can be a little better than an all or nothing swing at times notwithstanding big HR
