He was not the 23 straight scoreless inning guy today. I will chalk it up to one inning though and we will see what he does going forward. Hopefully it was just an anomaly and he's back to form the next time out

He’s been really good lately. I think he’s earned the benefit of the doubt. It’s really hard to win games up here, at least we already got 2.

Agree. He has done a great job for us since April 30th. These guys are not robots that the ball goes automatically where they want it. Now if he is pitching like some of these other guys who have been garbage more often then not then I would be giving him a hard time. But no reason to be on a roller coaster with Chavez at this point.

Jonathan Hernandez pitches tonight for Frisco. It would be great to see him have another really good outing and prove his last outing wasn't a fluke.

John King pitches for Down East as he tries to continue his good season.

Bad outing from Hernandez so it is back to square one with him.

John King, on the other hand, goes the distance while only giving up one unearned run. He only allowed 4 baserunners and got 4 strikeouts. His ERA after 36 innings at High A Down East is 1.25.

Some people I know are rooting for the blues and I think they’re crazy. Their reason is “I don’t want Boston to get another title”. I don’t see any reason for people to think that way. None of our teams are rivals with Bostons teams.

What kind of pansy deal is that? My dad and mom were born and raised in Pennsylvania. I never met anyone there who was a Pirates and a Phillies fan. You were one or the other.

My favorite was when UT played USC in the national championship and all these people tried to tell me I needed to root for the Texas team, and I was like "You know that's going to make recruiting more difficult for A&M, right?
