I know Odor didn't come thru there in the 9th but the Brewers announcers said that he is 6th in the AL with RISP. I didn't know that. Santana has had some tough luck tonight.

He seemed a lil red assed about that bad 1st strike call that was above the zone. Ump stunk all night

Never realized that.

Kelley had a rough night and technically so did the Rangers offense once again. Even though we had 10 walks, 2 hit batters and 2 errors we left way too many men on base with just 4 hits.

Seemed like he hit the ball hard everytime he put it in play, but it was right at someone.

Joe Palumbo hasn't been fully unleashed since returning from an ankle injury, but in two starts he's struck out 12 against two walks in 7.2 innings.

Add Wei-Chieh Huang to the long list of relievers I'd like to see in September. He looked sharp before his back injury and is rounding back into form. He lacks premium velocity but can burn hitters with high strikes, particularly when his his changeup is working.

I am certainly glad he did well. I do have some reservations about him longterm though. Many have said he is destined for the pen eventually. I also think we have at least 5 guys ahead of him projection-wise. I believe Crouse, Winn, Palumbo, Burke and Hearn are all ahead of him and maybe some other guys as well. I believe when we are ready to contend again we will only have room for 3 young starters. I think JD will want to have 2 veterans in the rotation. With all of those other prospects projected above Allard, I think it will be very hard for him to remain in the rotation even 3 years from now, and probably not 2 years from now. So, while I am glad he is doing well, it is a little hard for me to get too excited.
