Rangers haven't quite reached "gotta win" level yet, but it is fast approaching. September is going to be brutal for the Rangers, not to mention TOR and BAL coming into town this week. I don't mind BannyRooster working in a couple of off-days here and there ahead of all that. Especially with Hamels on the mound, and a pretty damn good 1-6 still being thrown out there.

Hopefully the trend of the Rangers being successful against teams above .500 continues.

Fortunately we got our ringer against LHP in the lineup. I still like that move. Nap is here to hit LHP and kill the Angels. Both things we desperately needed.

This is the time to gut it up. One day off should be enough when all the marbles are up for grabs unless injured. Guys like Beltre understand the price can seem high but tend to deal with what ever it takes. At least don't take out both these guys at the same time. One today and one Tuesday.

Sure they were but like I said, less time to improve so we better win more now because as you know no time to look back and say "what if". This is the time to put ourselves in a position to avoid having to look back and get out front and make the other teams look back.
