Like I said DT....I was wearing my Colby-for-President button all day yesterday. ha ha ha

I let it go....but I still do feel strongly we should keep him.

I am a Colby Lewis fan. Like I said I wouldn't mind bringing him back for a year. No disrespect for Colby at all. I would not sign him for 2 years though due to his age. A team option for a second year would be fine. Although, if we still had Eickoff, Thompson and Harrison in the organization then I would not necessarily be in favor of bringing him back next year.

My respect for Colby was shown back in early April when I predicted him to have an ERA this year of 3.95. I thought he would be our second best pitcher this year after Holland. His ERA would probably be right about 4.00 now if we had only had a decent bullpen when he had his bad outings so he didn't have to stay in.

When Colby has that breaking pitch going he is tough. Bu then he has games where it is like he is throwing batting practice. He has given up 10, 9, 7 and 5 twice yet his overall ERA is 4.49. That tells us he has had a lot of really good games.
