Rangers invade the trop riding high 04/16-04/18

on the surface we’re looking at two bad teams and a crappy park with no fans at the game, but there are a few interesting storylines to watch.

Will Martin Perez continue being a road warrior? He’s 4-1 with a 2.82 era in his last six road starts going back to last season.

Will Matt moores return to his old stomping grounds help him get going? He’s 0-3 with an 8.76 era so far this season.

Will Ronald Guzman continue his penchant for clutch hitting and outstanding reaches at first base to cover up errors?

The rangers have a glorious history at this ball park. The team has only advanced to the ALCS twice and it happened here both times against this opponent. However, it must be noted that the rangers also have success against the Astros here in a rare neutral site showdown winning 2 out of 3 games.

I think he should be staying up personally. He has been making some things happened on defense and offense and this is as good a year as any to get some MLB development.

Agree about this being a good time for development but Robinson will have to stay till DDJ gets back and Gallo in LF leaves very little room for Rua that I see. We will need a back up CF so Robinson may stay a while unless we pick up a FA. So many options now.

The front office signed an Oakland A’s prospect and immediately gave him rua’s roster spot.

Sounds like this guy has a much better bat then Rua, but his defense is suspect.

It's a depth signing that they won't care to lose when 40 man decisions have to be made later on, so they won't care if he doesn't play or won't care once he's gone
