When TEX activated Beltre ... they optioned Edwards ... so TEX now has a 12-man pitching staff and 4 man bench (tonight: Corporan, Rosales, Alberto and Choo).

When DDJ is ready ... TEX might be better off optioning Odor (unlikely) and keeping Alberto to play 2b and sub for Elvis ... but the bigger move might be to DFA Rosales (again) ... and keep Alberto to be UIF.

As for Blanks ... I bet he is held out from rehabbing like last time and isn't activated. That way his rehab calendar doesn't start. Optioning a pitcher to make room for him would leave TEX a short bullpen.

We'll find out in about a week when Hamilton is ready, til then not much to worry about

If Hamilton & DDJ return then Gallo has no reason to be here, he has no position to play.... He'll go to AAA to play everyday... I honestly don't care about Blanks and doubt he's much of a factor in making a roster decision either

Agreed. I'm thrilled with what we've gotten from Gallo, but he needs to see some AAA pitching to polish up a bit more. Especially needs to work on taking the ball up the middle occasionally.
