Do not understand why they put Hearn out for another inning. He has pitching out of the pen. Don't turn him into a so called starter now just because he did it in the past. And he didn't do it with a great degree of success. You want a BP game then make it one.

But having a bullpen game is a headscratcher to me. They are already toast and need to be less used
Lack of SP depth. Maybe should have brought up Keuchel and take your lumps

This is the guy the Yankees drafted in the first 1st round. He’s 6’7” like Aaron Judge. He’s been impressive so far. Couldn’t imagine both of those guys in the same line up lol

This team is really bad at baseball.

Outfilder not making routine play.
Missing cut off guy.
Infielders not knowing what to do or making wrong throw.
Two guys missing bad pitches in the middle of the plate with runners on base in late innings.

Lot of pitchers that get 2 strikes but cant throw a 3rd when they are way ahead. End up walking a guy or making a bad pitch and giving up a hit.

To me this is still a tryout year and missed fundamentals due to lack of repetition hurts

All this is why I am not huge on call ups unless ready or helps. Definitely blocking playing time so Miller gets his reps makes no sense but then Woody wants to win what I get.
That is why there really needs to be coordination between mgr and FO on these young guys

Hoping we fill some gaps this off season and have a little more continuity and roles established next year Then no excuses on missed fundamentals

That is why they need to fire Woody and hire someone on a longer term deal. That way the new manager won't be afraid to play for the future instead of just for immediate wins.
