Then you should be blaming Banny for continuing to play Napoli, Odor, Mazara, Lucroy, Choo, Prince, Desmond and others for continuing to play them when they went through a bad slump. Either he should stick with guys or he shouldn't. Which is it? He has stuck with some through more than 100 AB and quickly given up on others after a handful of games or even after 2 or 3 bad games. At least one of the two has to be wrong don't they? You don't continue with the everyday playing opportunities unless you have success.
You make is sound like these guys deserved 100 AB's before passing judgments. That's not reality. Marzara last season earned the right, as did Odor after going down for awhile. Frankly, I don't understand a person that blames a coach for a player not taking advantage of the opportunity
One in LF and 2 at 2B to this point. You the man! I think saddles said he's been strictly playing SS there.

Well, if it isn't because of which league he was pitching against then his splits are a significant coincidence. It could be 2 or 3 different factors though I guess.I don't put much stock in AL vs NL when it comes to relief pitching.
When Michael Young was 24 years old he started off the season by hitting .162 in his first 37 at bats. Should he have been benched for someone else?and I don't think Profar's 37 AB's had any effect on the other two. Deshields separated himself is what happened.
Good for him. He is one of my favorite ex-Rangers still playing. The 'V" in DVD turned out to be the best of the three it seems.Former Rangers great Edinson Volquez threw a no-hitter today.

Most definitely.Elvis deserves credit for a great season so far.
