Tuned in at start of inning. Looks like Willie sprays the ball. Really good for a lineup that sees a lot of shifts.

This is quite encouraging along with Mazara looking good.

He did a great job beating the shift on that 2nd single. I missed the first one but heard it was much like that. Then showed some bat speed and hit out of to CF.

Odor's homerun came off a position player that was pitching. Hopefully this will jumpstart him. Don't know how good the Cardinals pitching is.

Dave Raymond doesn’t care. There will be a huge segment on the broadcast tomorrow about how Odor has beaten the slump and the front office has breathed a huge sigh of relief.

Santana, forsythe, and Calhoun are still playing circles around that bum.

I snuck into the rangers front office and this is how they evaluate the current group of position players.


odor strikes out = front office ignores it like it didn't happen.

Odor makes contact and gets out = it's the equivalent of backups Santana, forsythe, or pence getting a single

Odor gets a single = equal to a Santana, forsythe, or Calhoun extra base hit

Odor gets a double = equal to a Santana, forsythe, or Calhoun home run

Odor gets a triple = we might have the next mike trout on our hands.

Odor gets a home run = slump is over. Previous negative at bats completely forgotten about and forgiven. Leash is extended by another 2 weeks.
