No, just the blown DP cost Martinez 4 runs.

We almost hit into a DP followed by hitting into a DP. And Hunter is not a ground ball pitcher last I remember.[/quote

4-3 game and Elvis basically gives um 4 cause he didn't pay attention to detail. Woulda been cool if Wash had pinch hit for him

No one can't say Rios wasn't hustling there. Kind of humorous in a way.

Have the White Sox run out of pitchers? Noesi has been starting for them and he stunk here and at Seattle before that and some guy named Carroll.

O'Day is another guy I hated losing thanks to Feldman.

Now I have to admit the oxygen tank comment by Buzz was funny.

Posters are dropping like flies now. Wonder what it will be like 79 games from now?
They actually die during the game. After Elvis's error, you since TVs being turned off and posters drifting away. Lord knows in a month or so.

I can't get through a full game most of the time, it's not that I don't expect to lose, but you start to get blown out pretty quick, and you know we aren't going to make up the ground, just depressing. Then I think, you've got other things to do anyway. So. Bandwagoner I guess. It's just painfully bad, and it isn't anyone's fault.

Guys will heal, JD will find a couple arms for next year whether internally or otherwise, I don't even care if we aren't that great next year, I'll settle for better. More offense would be at least enough to keep me tuned in.

If there is a good deal for Elvis somewhere, I'm not sure I wouldn't pursue it.

8 year 120 million dollars guaranteed, what really is there left to work hard for. When you are performing, I get all the cutsie antics and the having fun and so forth but when a guy isn't delivering, he has to focus that much harder and it doesn't seem EA is focused. Offseason layoff that led to sore arm, so he couldn't get his work in in the spring. Defense has been fair at best this season. He has been fair as well at the plate and that may be being nice cause he's awful w RISP, so far. If someone will give up some pitching for him, I say move him and that pre-mature contract he was given. At year end this season I was all about locking him up if he performed the entire year like his second half last season, but he really hasn't shown much improvement and still has little power. If there is a suitor that offers a decent return and they can get out of his contract, move him. If Sardinas can provide what Elvis is showing this year, next year and at significantly lower cost why not?

Cards would still take him
I just think he's too young to handle this kind of well, disaster...he's not use to it. I don't want to trade him, and I honestly don't think you should.
Things turn around a little and he'll be better.
He's a top SB guy, there's something. ha.

You aren't necessarily a bandwagoner if you don't enjoy watching bad baseball. I love the team, always have and always will, and believe me I've watched a lot of bad Rangers baseball over the years. I realize there are plenty of opportunities with injury, doesn't mean I am going to devote several hours a night to this year. There are more productive things that I can do that don't get my BP through the roof and I have tempered my expectations greatly. When the veterans are not delivering, it is even harder than watching a bunch of young guys learning the game. Just a rant, I'll still be here posting off and on, just not 3 hours a night when there are other things for me to focus on.

If the Cards would send Shelby Miller, not likely, I'd say move him. Maybe even add a lower level piece or 2

It's not the losing. It's how they are losing. They aren't competitive anymore. At least not to most teams. I can watch them a lot more if they could just stay in the game.

I hope they never get used to the losing. That's Wash's hardest lesson.

After all is said and done, Elvis will still be here. I really don't think anyone will be moved. Just don't think JD will be satisfied with anything that will be offered for Elvis.
