Totally different drafting strategy in Weekly lineups too that I wouldn't have been aware of, the importance of good starting pitching WAY more important in a league like this

As a result my starting pitching is weak as hell and is going to bother me for the rest of the year, thats another thing that annoys me

Understood. I tried to stress to everyone to study the settings before the draft (not saying you didn't at all) just so we'd have as level of a playing field as possible.

Both daily and weekly have their drawbacks for sure though.

Yeah nothing I could've done much about having never done a weekly lineup before, not whining, just mad at myself

It's all good. I'm not a huge fan of one format over the other. But they definitely have different approaches. Pitching is huge in weekly lineups, but you can't ignore hitting either. And I really like the hitting you drafted. The cool thing about head 2 head though is that the 6th place team can get hot at playoffs time and win it all. I just want to qualify for the playoffs and then let the chips fall where they may.

Still way to early to tell and any team can get hot in the playoffs and win the whole thing. Got to stay active on the waiver wire and injuries can really change the whole scope of the league in just a few weeks

It's official, I don't like the new setup for the league. I now have a guy on the DL all week because I tried to set my lineup Monday morning instead of Sunday night.

It looks like all the points are in closers, actually. K-Rod is getting me twice as many points as Felix or Yu or Lee.

Yeah I guess I just noticed the big outputs by starters due them pitching 5-9 innings, but yeah closer and starters are running about even for me

Point remains, closers kind of fall in the same category as starters in most leagues, don't draft them early

I think fantasy baseball is just another place showing us that baseball may be in a slight dead ball era...just seems like pitching is more dominate than in recent history

Well Jose Fernandez just took a giant dump on me, looks like TJ surgery, and a death stroke to my already mediocre pitching

Sorry guys, yahoo is trying to force me to create a yahoo account to continue the season. Mid fucking season. Fuck those assholes. I'm not doing that. I'm on auto pilot the rest of the year. Next year, we use someone else.

It doesn't matter which fantasy site you use, they are going to require you to create an account on their site. It's that way on ESPN, CBS, and all other major fantasy sites. So even if we do use a different site next season, you will be required to register with them (just as Yahoo is asking you to do now).

The season is only 7 weeks old. Don't quit on us.

Doing it mid season is what is pissing me off. That's chicken shit right there.
