it would do more harm than good. the Astros need to reconfigure their team to work in the American League and signing 2 broke down pitchers like Oswalt and Clemens would be a waste and wouldn't fill any seats.

young Astros fans don't remember either and aren't going to come to games to see a 50-year old Clemens embarrass himself against young players like Trout and Cespesdes and an Oswalt who has shown he is no longer capable of competing against MLB hitters.

and fans are wanting to see a competitive team on the field, not relive old memories

I doubt they've garnered a lot of young fans the last few years, and some of them grew up hearing about Oswalt and Clemens so I'm sure they'd go see them pitch once. And they probably would garner some attendance from some nostalgic fans. That said, that would last about three weeks before they embarrased themselves and things went back to normal.

Yep. "rumored" to open in Houston (for 3) followed by a 4 game series at RBiA against the Angels.
