Better to have them 10 games back....than 1 or 2 back. Bury them while you can.

The battle with the A's is going to be a season long venture.... may as well take solace that the Angels are having a rough go at it, instead of being right there with us.

He seemed to be calling them equally as bad for both teams. The difference being that Grimm found more of the middle of the strike zone with his fastball and got nailed. The biggest disparity to me was that pitches low in the strike zone that are normally called balls suddenly became strikes last night. However, I agreed with Busby...the Rangers hitters spent to much time complaining. There was a point when you say OK that pitch is going to be called a strike so stop complaining and get busy hitting.

Sweep obviously isn't going to happen.


Guess we will jsut have to be happy with still being up 3 games on your team even if you sweep us.
