Even when we win games, it's by the slimmest of margins. We haven't won a game by 3 or more runs since September 19th. That's now 14 games in a row with either a loss, 1-run, or 2-run win. The offense just can't pad a lead or put up a big inning, and the few times they have, the pitching has let them down.

The only way we are going to score any runs is by HR. This team has not shown the ability to string two hits together in what feels like a month.

We just have no power in our swings. 99% of the time they make contact it's a weakly hit grounder or pop-up. They didn't even look this bad in their July swoon. This is the worst I've ever seen them look, especially at the plate.

The only positive in this potential collapse for me is that Wash would certainly most probably be fired, you can only run out inefficient lineup after inefficient lineup for so long before it bites you big time
