Right now, the difference in this game is Perez' balk that brought in the third run. What a kick in the nuts that is.

Balk brought in the 2nd run

We came back and tied the game after that, so its not the difference, it was the 4 inning thats the difference

It does if you are saying thats the difference in this game, which it is not

Yes it is. It was a stupid run that had it not happened the game would be tied right now.

Says the guy who repeatedly spells clue, "clew"

Not going to argue with you about it

Are you sure, I think you come here just to argue. And then again, we both previously agreed that you were not just an asshole on here, but one in real life as well. That's likely the only thing we have ever agreed on.

I could care less about your opinion, b/c all you know how to do is cuss and type incoherent babble, try using spell check, its free

I think I do more disagreeing than actual arguing on here

But yes, I am an asshole in real life, very proud to make folks like you look ignorant on a regular basis

Have you guys ever seen a more uninspired playoff-bound team in your lives? Ron and the entire team have just seemed to have this attitude of lazy arrogance for about the last two weeks and it has shown in their play. The series in Seattle was a complete mess and it was almost like "oh well, who cares, we've still got the division wrapped up". Now the A's have creeped up to within 1 game and we're STILL playing as if these games just don't matter at all and that somehow we've already clinched the division.

How on Earth do you justify starting a 21 year-old kid who clearly isn't ML-ready in an extremely important potentially division-deciding game against a team who absolutely shelled him less than a week ago when you've got veterans in Feldman and Oswalt who would be much better bets in such a big game? I knew this game was a forfeit from the moment I saw the pitching matchup.

Because of Wash's absolutely asinine decision to go with Perez and the duo of Kinsler and Hamilton having checked out over a week ago, we're now forced to pitch Harrison and Dempster and must win 1 out of 2 on the road against a hot team who smells blood in the water. I've just never seen such a complete lack of concern or effort from this Rangers team. All this arrogant talk of "we're the best team in baseball" is very concerning. I'm not sure who they think they're fooling because they haven't played anywhere near like the best team in baseball for quite some time.

If it weren't for the beast Napoli just deciding he refused to lose to the Angels last night, we'd be staring down a very real possibility of missing the playoffs altogether. And as it is now, if their attitudes and performances don't improve over the next 48 hours, we're looking at a 1-game elimination date with Baltimore, possibly even on the road.

I'm not gloom and doom here, just being realistic and quite disbelieving at the seeming lack of concern or effort from our team lately. We are a much, much better team than we're showing and it's time we quit with the excuses and start playing like it.

Aside from a couple people, most posters on here like me, and that's been stated regularly, but thanks for playing

Can't keep them all happy

The one and only positive from tonight is that the Rays and especially the Angels are eliminated.

At least this year She-J won't get criticized for not showing up for the playoffs. He can not win games from the comfort of his own couch surrounded by his many mirrors.
